Adam Davidson reports on the IMF's proposal to make its voting procedures more fair, but Davidson describes the "work" of the IMF as stepping in to bail out desperately poor countries by making "demands to reform failed economies." In fact many thinking folks would assert that it is the IMF that ruins the societies and economies where it intervenes (as in Argentina and Africa for example).
