There is something really devious, oppressive, and Orwellian about NPR's ongoing "Crossing the Divide" series of reports(focused on the themes of "bipartisanship and compromise."). And the timing is, of course, extremely suspect.
For example, after running these "Crossing the Divide" pieces yet again tonight, they featured a extended opinion piece by Dinesh D'Souza, author of "The Enemy at Home: The Cultural Left and Its Responsibility for 9/11." Thanks for bending my mind yet again, NPR.
I heard the D'Souza piece. He said that Vietnam was the result of the discredited domino theory while Iraq is not. Then he said that if the "Islamist extremists" win in Iraq, they will next target Saudi Arabia and Egypt. I was incredulous that NPR would let something so shallow on the air.
My name is Matthew Murrey and I'm from Florida, but have been living in the Midwest since 1984. I started this blog because no one else was blogging NPR's drift toward the right - and it made more sense than yelling at the radio.

Awright! Mighty good piece of reporting yourself there, MYTWORDS, on the scurrilous background of that "journal."
