As was mentioned at the end of the Open Thread Tuesday, NPR is mightily covering the repub asses over the USAttornies mess. All I heard this PM was from repubs (did I miss anything?). And John Greene was real good at reciting the talking points against 'under oath, with a transcript' (it's already a crime to lie to congress, etc.) but never mentioned that without a transcript, it's all heresay, and nothing can be proved. It's funny that my local station, WHYY, Phila, is running ads touting the trustworthiness of NPR. Every time I hear a story that does't sit right with me, I instinctively ask "how are they trying to pull the wool over my eyes?"
My name is Matthew Murrey and I'm from Florida, but have been living in the Midwest since 1984. I started this blog because no one else was blogging NPR's drift toward the right - and it made more sense than yelling at the radio.
"Q Tips" is an open thread post where you can place general comments or brief notes about NPR.
Comment Guidelines
I make every effort not to interfere with comments - BUT I will generally delete violent, gratuitously vulgar, or obscene posts. I realize it can be a subjective judgment call. Even when you're really angry, try to play nice.
