Boy, can you believe how 'Adenoid-Andie' Seabrook has turned that sombre, dour (!) and overly-serious Mee-chele Norris around? The 'Giggle Gals' seem to be having the time of their lives! Sort of makes me think, if you can't beat 'em, join 'em! Frumpy old Big Bob (Siegel) and that Noah guy are happily distant memories. Plus, all those clever 'variations on a ATC theme' musical interludes are just so darned . . . clever. The audio lobotomizing of the innocent NPR listening public moves into a new, turbo-powered phase. Stay tuned - if you dare. If you'll excuse me, I wanna get back to that clownfish story...
My name is Matthew Murrey and I'm from Florida, but have been living in the Midwest since 1984. I started this blog because no one else was blogging NPR's drift toward the right - and it made more sense than yelling at the radio.
"Q Tips" is an open thread post where you can place general comments or brief notes about NPR.
Comment Guidelines
I make every effort not to interfere with comments - BUT I will generally delete violent, gratuitously vulgar, or obscene posts. I realize it can be a subjective judgment call. Even when you're really angry, try to play nice.
