Weekly Roundup
I'm trying a new format. I'll still post about once a week, but will split the report up into individual posts so that the single post is not so long and it will be possible to link to the specific sections. I'd be happy to get any reactions and feedback.

Great job on the Roundup, MTW. As my daily Neocon Propaganda Radiation exposure is less than 15 minutes per day, I greatly appreciate your ignoring the Geiger-counter clicks and daring to do your insightful summaries.
As the broadcasts grind on, I might have to 'suit up' to keep myself protected, even at my minimal exposure level!
Is it a lot of work for you to make separate posts? It's nice. The thing is where do we put general comments?
As I'm listening to the swill on the National Cathedral and all of its godliness after listening to the Democratic base being called centrist based on a sample size of 1 Unitarian church... I'm wondering how we start petitioning our Congress critters to cut off funds to Neocon Propaganda Radio.
I have to go wash out my ears with bleach now.
Saturday presented the show "Wait, wait, don't tell me". They had a huge laugh-fest about the UF student who was tazed for not letting loose of a microphone fast enough. Someone should tell that shallow drunk Poundstone that after all the whiners and complainers have been tazed into submission (gee, is punishment actually a role of campus security, or police in general?), they're coming for people of 'unacceptable' alternative lifestyles.
Oh, and I commented below on the Rather lawsuit story, in keeping with the site format of MTW.
anon, I am confident that MTW will continue to offer his Open Threads for general comment deposits.
Larry, interesting to hear about the UF tazer laugh-fest on 'Wait, Wait'. It's very telling when NPR-oids show what are obviously their true colors: privileged detachment. When creeping fascism such as the UF incident is looked upon as entertainment, especially from people of entitlement, such as those who are NPR, what's next, 'let them eat cake'?
Or how about this pitch?
Call it...
"I GOT MINE"
PS: Nice going on the tweaking, My-T.
I'm glad to know there are others who were put off their feed by that "wwdtm" foolishness. I've never thought the show was funny, but they really hit a new low with the Taser humor.
