I had to turn off NPR today, Christmas. Slipping out of their customary right wing shilling, they tried boring me to death with some never ending water torture soap opera!

Can someone please explain how someone can keep their job when they blow >10 minutes (that's all I could tolerate) on Yip Yap Yadda when there's real news like the bombings in Iraq to talk about?
