Allison Stewart would make a good cheerleader, news anchor, I'm not so sure. She was enthusiastic though. Her best attribute was she's not Scott the Simonizer.

Those voters they chose to interview around the country were atrocious. Did they do a search for the lowest information voters they could find? Neither side was represented well by the people put on the air. Do you think they selected these people for some purpose or do they truly represent the typical voter?

NPR reported on the following story, but it was relegated to the equivalent of the back of the newspaper -- in NPR's "Day To day".

It was NOT reported in either of NPR's "flagship" news programs: Morning Edition or ATC.

This is the epitome of "propagandizing through selective coverage". NPR has perfected this technique. If they feel a story is too "controversial" (eg, pre-war claims that there were no WMD in Iraq, the Downing Street Minutes, etc), NPR simply ignores the story (or buries it in one of their less listened to shows, so they can cover their ass if anyone ever says they did not cover it).

This may be the worst type of propaganda because it is so hard to counter. If a tree falls in a forest and there is no one there, does it make a sound?
