Turned on TV this Sun AM: "... our Meet the Press roundtable ... Meeechelle Norris..." [pre-emptive click!]
Though it was worth a chuckle when the Fox Pouter Panel was discussing the infamous 'toon earlier - Juan cries "whenever I say something, they call me a sell-out or an Uncle Tom or all this other stuff..."
Monday morning was blessed with KookieRoberts and her bizarre take on the last 16 years. Apparently the way that the repugs treated Bill Clinton was identical to the way the demos treated the smirking chimp. Like the time the dems shut down the govt., or the impeachment of the Simian in Chief, or the fact that he never got any of his major bills passed. Such equivalence....I can't imagine what fluff goes on between the Kookster's ears.
My name is Matthew Murrey and I'm from Florida, but have been living in the Midwest since 1984. I started this blog because no one else was blogging NPR's drift toward the right - and it made more sense than yelling at the radio.
"Q Tips" is an open thread post where you can place general comments or brief notes about NPR.

I make every effort not to interfere with comments - BUT I will generally delete violent, gratuitously vulgar, or obscene posts. I realize it can be a subjective judgment call. Even when you're really angry, try to play nice.

Why hasn't Prez.O done anything about changing the 'leadership' at NPR/PBS yet?
I know he's busy, but how hard could it be to fire the current management?
I'm listening to a report on Sunday ME about the renovation of Alice Tully Hall in NYC.
1. How could this story possibly be of interest to anyone outside the NY metro area?
2. The report includes all sorts of arcana about how the renovation was done, the materials, etc.
How could this detail possibly be of interest to anyone outside of the architectural design business?
But-but-but, D - it's an uNPR Driveway Moment®!!
