What has happened to campaign finance reform ?? Why don't we throw the bums out ?? Is there someplace I can get a list of contributors to compare with voting records ?? Why doesn't NPR go after this story ??
Ha ha, Hubert: we run into each other everywhere, talking the same points. Yes, campaign finance reform. A topical connection would be a story about the supposed ban on lobbyists promised by Obama. How's that going? Is the power of lobbyists actually being reduced?
WE-Saturday had another segment of "Republican Media-mouth Chats Randomly with Scott" as the follow-up to Daniel Schorr, this week with Michelle Laxalt. Maybe they thought that if they got someone who was less annoying than Joe Scarborough we wouldn't notice she was spewing Republican propaganda at will.
Based on the comments on NPR's site, people noticed.
What gets me is that just because Dan Schorr was on Nixon's enemies list, they (at least tacitly) portray him as a 'liberal.' Schorr's no liberal, no lefty. He's just a doddering version of the Village elder rubbing his chin in bemusement.
My name is Matthew Murrey and I'm from Florida, but have been living in the Midwest since 1984. I started this blog because no one else was blogging NPR's drift toward the right - and it made more sense than yelling at the radio.
"Q Tips" is an open thread post where you can place general comments or brief notes about NPR.

Two names NPR is ignoring: Michael Behenna and Michael Leahy, Jr. Google 'em.
