I heard Thom Hartmann on Air America this morning really taking apart NPR & specifically Jaun Williams this morning. He really dug in & showed what a right wing wank fest NPR is. It was good radio.

That's good to know. For too long NPR has coasted on a pretty trouble-free plane as far as concise criticism is concerned, which has been perfect for certain subversive interests to gain control of it and work out their strategies.

It's nice to know that we aren't the only ones yowling in the wilderness.

Dean Baker also takes NPR out behind the woodshed (h/t to FAIR)

I loved this: "This NPR piece is identified as being "Planet Money." That may be appropriate because most listeners probably would not think it belongs on Planet Earth. -- Dean Baker"

If I am not mistaken, "Planet Money" is the Milky Way galaxy's garbage dump planet.

They will take (and air) anything -- as long as it does not offend Mara Liasson's Foxy sensibilities, of course.

Planet Money and NPR were all telling us the "sky was falling" back when Paulson was trying to shove the first bank bailout down our throats.

They were like Henry Paulson's personal cheerleading squad.

I have been calling it "Planet Monkey" since it began.

NPR's upbidsman is a pathetic, incompetent, NPRpropaganda-apologist joke.

Worse than Dvorkin (though there was a time when I would not have imagined that possible)
