The portrayal of the Liberty crew as emotionally crippled nutters who won't get over their obsessive conspiracy theories in the face of official disavowals really pissed me off this morning.
I regret starting to listen to NPR again. Every single story is either full of lies, obvious spin, distortion, patronizingly simplistic (and erroneous) "conventional wisdom" or the infamous NPR trivial high/lowbrow cultural fluff.
I don't get it; I never feel frustrated of less-well informed after an hour of the BBC, even with its increasingly pro-Israel spin. But I feel like NPR is working to de-educate me each and every hour.
