How refreshing for
NPR to revisit Dr. Martin Luther King's
famous antiwar speech (
and stance) on this national holiday celebrating his birthday. Instead of keeping the memory of King sanitized, NPR opts to look at one of his most controversial decisions--to oppose the Vietnam War. Without endorsing his views, NPR offers a timely and relevant look at King that is often missing from the news.
Kudos to NPR and
Kathy Lohr.
