I heard Robert Siegal this morning abruptly cut off his Baghdad correspondent when he was talking about the paucity of evidence linking the sectarian violence and the insurgency to Iran. NPR has provided no evidence, not one iota, implicating Iran. Even the report about Defense Sec. Gates saying serial numbers "might" implicate Iran was not challenged by the enablers at NPR.

PS Off topic slightly, but why does Margaret Warner, of Nightly News Hour with Jim Lehrer, these days in Venezuela, refer to the democratically elected Venezuelan President merely as "Chavez," but always refer to the war criminal, W, as "President Bush?"
My name is Matthew Murrey and I'm from Florida, but have been living in the Midwest since 1984. I started this blog because no one else was blogging NPR's drift toward the right - and it made more sense than yelling at the radio.
"Q Tips" is an open thread post where you can place general comments or brief notes about NPR.
