They finally (sorta, kinda) addressed the trojan horse "retired" military analyst story yesterday afternoon. Funny though, they laid most of the blame on television networks and barely talked about their own complicity. Oh, there was this ONE guy, but you know, he was also CRITICAL of the war as well, so it's all good.
PS to PM: I just got around to clicking your profile, was delighted to learn of some of your literature selections. I'd recently viewed Tati's 'Playtime' and was thoroughly astounded by his subtle, witty slapstick - so now I'm eager to check out the rest of the M. Hulot legacy. And ya ain't lived 'til ya seen E-head Henry, aye? (the flick that hooked me like a tapeworm onto cult cinema, New Year's Day '84 it was!)
Indeed, f!b!, there's a banquet out there to be had (including 'regular chickens', carved by Henry Spencer), but Blob and all the NPR others AREN'T INVITED.
My name is Matthew Murrey and I'm from Florida, but have been living in the Midwest since 1984. I started this blog because no one else was blogging NPR's drift toward the right - and it made more sense than yelling at the radio.
"Q Tips" is an open thread post where you can place general comments or brief notes about NPR.
