I notice NPR is saying that Willard 'Mitt-mash' Romney is 'suspending his campaign' while they flogged the term 'quitting the race' when referring to Edwards or Kucinich. That's NPR: always fair and balanced.

Now Mara Liarson is breathlessly sphinctering her gobbledegook about John The McCain and why conservatives are 'having a problem' with him. How she loves her 'National Correspondent' status! Oops - she's gotta go. It takes a full half hour to get over to Fox - traffic permitting.

Yeah, Port - I tolerated only so much of the intro, but when they brought Dr. Mara Mabuse up to the mic.... well gee, chalk up another fine another NPR off-button moment!

"Now research has shown that children who eat with their parents are less likely to struggle with substance abuse."

This segment put me in mind of another news piece:
"In places like Cite Soleil[Haiti], the oceanside slum where Charlene shares a two-room house with her baby, five siblings and two unemployed parents, cookies made of dirt, salt and vegetable shortening have become a regular meal."

Not to worry, at least they eat together.
